Clare Machine Works limited was founded in 1972 by Arthur Stuart.

The business has grown and is well known throughout South-Western Nova Scotia.

Most of the employees have between 15 and 25 years experience and their workmanship is second to none.

With the ever changing fishing industry the company has adapted to developing new products and services and has been aggressively seeking interest in these areas.

The business is now managed by Arthur's son, Vince Stuart.
